Beige, yellow and light blue ‘V-10’ lace-up sneakers from Veja x Make My Lemonade. Crafted from a suede, this lace-up pair sits on a cream rubber sole made of organic and recycled materials and is enriched by a logo embossed on the tongue, perforations, pink heel tab, organic cotton laces and an orange and light blue V patch made of rubber and rice waste. The mesh inner lining made from recycled materials was developed to acquire a better resistance to friction. The organic-sourced and recycled insole is made from sugar cane, Amazon rubber, organic cotton and recycled EVA foam.
The leather comes from farms in Rio Grande do Sul and is L.W.G. Gold certified by the Leather Working Group, which promotes sustainable practices that have a positive impact on the environment in tanneries.
