White and grey ‘V-10 Mesh’ sneakers from Veja. Crafted from B-Mesh produced from recycled bottles, this lace-up model features an embossed logo on the tongue, suede trims, the brand's signature green V patch made of rubber and rice waste, and organic cotton shoelaces. The mesh inner lining made from recycled materials was developed to acquire a better resistance to friction. The organic-sourced and recycled insole consists of sugar cane, Amazon rubber, organic cotton and recycled EVA. It is set on a beige rubber sole made from organic and recycled materials. The leather comes from farms in Rio Grande do Sul and is L.W.G. Gold certified by the Leather Working Group, which promotes sustainable practices that have a positive impact on the environment in tanneries.
