Black ‘Japanese Medium’ handbag from MM6 Maison Margiela. Made of fabric, this design fastens via a snap and showcases the brand's signature white stitches on the back, one half-round handle with an embossed logo, silver-tone metal hardware and one internal compartment. First introduced as part of the Autumn-Winter 2009 collection. Its distinctive triangular silhouette is inspired by the Japanese art of paper folding, origami. The snap-buttons at its edges allow for the bag to change form through folding, evoking the Maison’s deconstructionist design codes.
